Hello Parents! We are so excited to have your camper coming to AYA Camp on this summer!
The information below contains all that you will need to know for camp. Below will be the bus schedule, driving directions, what to bring to camp, and important information to remember. Please read the entire email and look for more emails in the coming week.
Medication at Camp
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!
If your child will need to take any medication, a Camper Medication Form must be filled out by a parent or guardian. We must know the prescription, dose, time, and instructions for administration of medication. This includes over the counter medications and vitamins. No medications will be given without this release. Only medications provided by parent or guardian will be given. Medications will be dispensed to your child by TCC’s trained health staff only. Medications must be in their original containers with prescription information included, this is also in effect for any inhalers, nasal sprays, and epi pens.
Please place all medications and a completed Camper Medication Form inside of a ziplock bag with your camper’s name on the outside to be turned in to TCC Staff at check in. Emergency medications, such as inhalers, can be check out from TCC health staff if needed during physical activities.
The Standing Medication Order Form allows Camp staff to provide the identified medications to your camper if needed on an as-needed basis. These medications are given as needed to treat symptoms of illness or aches. Please review this sheet and cross out any medications you do not approve before signing. A complete Standing Medication Orders is required to provide your camper with any medications not provided with the Camper Medication Form. No over the counter medications will be provided without a signed Standing Medication Orders.
Both of these forms are due when you check your camper in at the bus or camp. Again, you must have all medication in original bottles in a Ziploc baggie labled with your camper’s name. Please turn this in at check in and do not leave it in your camper’s bag. Campers can not have medication of any form on their person or in their personal items (examples: vitamins, Advil, antacids, etc). These must be given by our Camp staff based on the provided instructions and stored in a locked cabin away from campers.

Camp Code of Conduct
Tonto Creek Camp is committee to the highest ideals of camp and expects every camper to honor the experience of camp.

What to Bring to Camp
Please take the time to thoroughly review the included packing list. Your camper’s experience, in many ways, hinges on their comfort at camp. Please be sure to include all of the necessities on the packing list. Additionally, many parents / guardians find it helpful to label everything their camper brings.
All of our activities require closed toe shoes. Please remember that there is limited cell phone coverage and no wifi at camp. Please click on the link below for the camper packing list.
Additional Liablity Waiver
In the event that fire restrictions are lifted, then there’s a good chance that you will be able to participate in a rapelling activity. To do so we must have a specific liablity waiver on file.

Bus Arrival/Pick up time: 12:30-1:00PM

If DRIVING To Camp the address is 235 Camp Tontozona Rd, Payson, AZ 85541
Campers must be dropped off and picked up at the camp by an adult during the times listed below. You will drop off your campers and check in by the office which is located next to the water tank with Sparky on it, there is limited parking in front of the cabins next to the office. Please do not park in front of the office unless you are instructed to as that is our bus parking area. Drop off times and directions are below. If you would like to have your student take the bus instead please email firstname.lastname@example.org and he will assist you with that change.
